Knight-Thon

Knight-Thon, Dance Marathon at the University of Central Florida, is a part of the national Miracle Network
Dance Marathon movement. Knight-Thon is UCF’s largest student-driven philanthropy, raising funds and awareness for
Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Our year-long efforts conclude each spring with a 20-hour Dance Marathon, where more than 1,500 UCF Knights
come together to celebrate their efforts made for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. In 2019, Knight-Thon
celebrated our 23rd year at UCF and raised $1,288,360.23 For the Kids. Every cent raised goes towards our hospital’s
greatest need at the time. This includes medical treatments, care and research, as well as everyday items to make the
hospital feel more comfortable for its patients.

We strive to live by the words and legacy of the late Arnold Palmer, who said,

“We can do better, and we should do better for the children of our community.”
